.
In Eschert, a village near Moutier, G. & Y. Leuenberger SA's workshops can enjoy a bucolic, thought provoking setting.
.
Behind their walls are manufactured precision screw-machined and custromized parts of various materials, which are always in line with customers' plans.

.

Parts from 1 to 65 millimetres in diameter. All these orders can be used in sectors such as aviation, decoration, agriculture, art, music, domestic appliances, automation, watchmaking, jewellery, games, leisure, optics medicine and safety. A part is exported directly to Europe, the USA and Canada.

40 years experience
The family business Leuenberger precision screw-machining was established in 1964 by Gilbert and Ruth Leuenberger. It has grown from one or two employees in its early days to a total of fifty today, including three apprentices. The following have been at the helm of the technical department since 1985 : Yves, the son, himself assisted by his wife Sylvie. But the general management is still shared between Gilbert and Yves, which has proved to be a fruitful partnership since the factory has expanded constantly since it was established. Having started in small premises, the first part of the present workshops was built in 1967 and then enlarged in 1979, 1990, 1994 and 1999.
.
A diversified range of machinery enables G. & Y. Leuenberger SA to be constantly in the forefront of progress. Thanks to their extremely flexible organization they can adapt production to order ranging from 500 to several million parts measuring from 1 to 65 millimetres. Parts made of brass, steel, stainless steel and plastic.
This is an indication of how well the company's executives know how to adjust to new product developments. And even to fashions. After all, Leuenberger manufacutes parts with a very special design that are used in the production of luxury marks.

G. & Y. Leuenberger SA has also finished products like the watchmaker's magnifying glass, the champagne cork and a design picture's frame made of stainless steel.
